Faux fur is one of the most glamorous ways you can bring any outfit up to date. It’s the perfect staple to keep you snug and stylish on cold winter days, and it’s one of those items that can instantly transform even the simplest of outfits. Plus, not only is it warm and cosy, it’s completely guilt-free too.

I found this fab coat when I lived in Paris a few years ago, and it’s still going strong as my chic winter essential. Whether in the form of fur lined-boots, a classic collar or a cute gillet, a touch of faux fur can add a plush edge to any outfit without looking too Cruella Deville-esque or OTT.
