It’s good to appreciate mother nature every once in a while, so what better way to celebrate Earth Day than a healthy, organic, green smoothie.
I know you’ll probably be bombarded with information today about how we can prevent climate change, reduce our emissions and take active steps to preserve our beautiful Earth for our generations to come. Good. It’s good to be bombarded. It’s good to have that information ingrained in our minds, so we think twice about jumping into our gas-guzzling cars, consciously use less energy and opt for recyclable materials rather than plastics. If you take anything from Earth Day, it should be an understanding of how you can take small but effective steps to help save our planet, and how your individual actions can really make a difference.
So, for the recipe. I love making green smoothies as they’re so energizing, nourishing and if you make it right, so delicious. I’ve had many trial-and-error sessions with green smoothies, and i’ve managed to find another simple combination that just…works. Enjoy, and let me know if you give it a go!
