90's styles have been popping up left, right, and centre recently. Chokers, cropped flares, and double denim are now back on trend and i'm absolutely loving it!
The Canadian Tuxedo is one of those styles that's so wrong it's somehow right, and even though I broke a few fashion rules with this matching denim look, I actually kinda like it. The matching wasn't intentional (the jacket actually belongs to Boyu), but when we met up to shoot we switched jackets and I decided to brave this denim on denim look.
I've always thought that matching denim was an absolute no-no, but I think this outfit works really well. Besides, fashion rules are supposed to be broken and it was nice to get out of my style comfort zone and try something completely new!
I think the key with this look is to keep it a little feminine - denim on denim can easily be masculine, so keep either your top or bottom half nice and figure hugging to accentuate your curves, and accessorize with simple jewellery so it's not too OTT.
